Hearts of Oak coach, Martin Koopman has assured that he has absolute confidence in the team despite their season opener defeat.
The Rainbow Club were stunned by Real Tamale United (RTU) in their matchday one game at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Friday night.
Owusu Afriyie scored late during the game as the home side snatched all three points to kickstart their season on a good note.
Speaking after the game, the Dutch gaffer said they are focusing on their next game after the defeat.
He also assured that they will work tirelessly in their subsequent games.
“You never in football. In the second half, you see what we did in the first half and then you will conclude that we will sign up for a point but it did happen,” he said after the game.
“I think the overall was ok for me so let us go for the next game and we must make steps forward. We must work very hard as a young team but I have confidence.
“It was nice for them but not for us,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will host Nsoatreman FC in their matchday two games at the Accra Sports Stadium next week.
