According to a recent report, a rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target will now make his decision on his next club.
Tottenham, like all clubs across the Premier League, will have to trade this summer transfer window to comply with Profit and Sustainability regulations.
Emerson Royal is of interest to AC Milan, who just had an £8.4m bid rejected, whilst Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a target of Atletico Madrid.
Once these sales go through, the club are expected to move for an attacker, with Eberechi Eze and Pedro Neto among the names being considered.
A Euro 2024 star is also on their shortlist and he is now ready to decide his next club.
Dani Olmo set to decide future
Tottenham have been linked with a move for Dani Olmo in recent weeks following his sensational performances with Spain at Euro 2024.
The RB Leipzig playmaker netted three times whilst laying on two assists and produced a classy display in the final as his side defeated England 2-1.
Now, it has just emerged that Olmo will make his decision on his next club amidst a number of offers, according to Spanish outlet Sport.
The report doesn’t specify if Spurs are one of the clubs who have made a proposal but TBR exclusively reported last month that the Lilywhites had been made aware of his £50m release clause.
It’s understood that Olmo favoured a move to Barcelona but they are focussing their attempts on his compatriot Nico Williams.
Tottenham face stiff competition
If Tottenham are to land Olmo’s signature, they’ll have to fend off stiff competition.
TBR reported last week that Manchester City were hoping to sign him by the end of Tuesday – which is believed to be the day his release clause expires. Though, there are conflicting stories which note it’s active until Friday.
Either way, any forthcoming suitors will have to get a move on.
