PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia man who played football for Penn State University has been hit with rape and related charges, according to reports and court documents.
Jameial James Lyons Jr., 19, of Philadelphia, is charged with rape, aggravated indecent assault without consent of others, voluntary deviate sexual intercourse, invasion of privacy, and more crimes, court records show.
Also charged is Kaveion Allen Keys, 19, of Richmond, Virginia. He faces rape, aggravated indecent assault without consent of others, sexual assault, and other charges.
Blue White Illustrated in August reported both Lyons and Keys were removed from the team and the university. Before being removed from the school, Lyons and Keys were placed on interim suspension, the outlet reports.
Lyons was a defensive end and Keys and was a linebacker.
