The Boston Bruins organization will be hitting the road in late August in an effort to “grow the game of hockey throughout New England,” the team announced in a press release on Thursday.
The 2024 Boston Bruins Fan Fest will start in Lewiston, Maine on Aug. 23, then shift to Lowell, Mass. on Aug. 24 and conclude in Plymouth, Mass. on Aug. 25. Each day will go from 12-4 p.m. ET.
Each stop will contain different activities and games for fans to take part in. PWHL Boston will have a presence during the stop in Lowell, as that’s where they play their home games.
The Fan Fest kicks off Boston’s 100 Days of Hockey, a campaign that will culminate with Boston’s Centennial Game on Dec. 1 against the Montreal Canadiens. It will mark the 100th anniversary of the Bruins’ first game, which was against the Montreal Maroons in 1924.
