The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of offensive linemanĀ Cameron ErvingĀ to the practice squad.
The Cleveland Browns selected Erving (6-5, 313) as the 19th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Over his 10-year NFL career, Erving has played for the Browns (2015-16), Kansas City Chiefs (2017-19), Dallas Cowboys (2020), Carolina Panthers (2021-22), New Orleans Saints (2023), and Houston Texans (2024). He has appeared in 98 games, starting 58 of them along the offensive line.
Earlier this year, Erving was a member of the Texans’ practice squad before being released on November 20.
A 32-year-old native of Moultrie, GA, Erving attended Florida State University (2010-15), where he played in 29 games as both a defensive and offensive lineman. During his collegiate career, he recorded 22 tackles and 1.0 sack.
