Wrexham star Eoghan O’Connell has revealed what co-owner Ryan Reynolds is like behind the scenes.

The Wrex Coast tour is set to conclude with Wrexham facing MLS team Vancouver Whitecaps at the BC Stadium on Sunday.

The pre-season friendly is in Ryan Reynolds‘ home town with the owner expected to be in attendance to show his support for the Red Dragons.

The Wrexham owners‘ impact in North Wales can be seen through the success on the pitch with back-to-back promotions with manager Phil Parkinson.

The former Sunderland manager has recently revealed that the owners are dedicated to supporting him and are keen to be involved in the club’s transfers.

However, their work off the pitch has been important with Reynolds’ latest gesture to Paul Mullin showing their efforts to support everyone at the club.

Ahead of the friendly in Vancouver, Eoghan O’Connell commented on his experience under the ownership since arriving in North Wales.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s work behind the scenes shows their commitment to Wrexham

Both Hollywood owners will get great credit for their work in supporting Parkinson to achieve the rise to League One.

Ahead of the 2024/25 League One campaign, the owners have again shown their desire to strengthen the squad with several new faces already signed at the Racecourse.

The club have signed Arthur Okonkwo, Lewis Brunt, George Dobson, Callum Burton, and Sebastian Revan as they aim to be competitive in the coming season.

This is impressive work and the club will ultimately be judged on their on-field performances in the coming years.

However, it is the extra gestures of the owners going above and beyond to help their staff behind the scenes that make the club a special place for footballers to join.

The owners are keen to support every player in the dressing room and that highlights their commitment to the Red Dragons, which can only be a promising sign for the fanbase in the coming years.
