The Ohio State Buckeyes won the College Football Playoff national title over Notre Dame on January 20.
Since then, the Buckeyes have seen plenty of changes, including offensive coordinator Chip Kelly leaving and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles exiting.
Knowles left for the same job at Penn State and Kelly departed for the same role with the Las Vegas Raiders in some notable losses for the program.
As such, Ohio State needs to fill a few spots on the coaching staff, including the offensive coordinator role.
On Wednesday, a report came that Ohio State is adding Virginia Tech OC Tyler Bowen as an offensive line coach, as first mentioned by Doug Samuels of Football Scoop.

“Virginia Tech offensive line coach Tyler Bowen is leaving to become offensive line coach at Ohio State sources tell FootballScoop.”
Shortly after, both Matt Zenitz and Pete Nakos confirmed such reports.
Bowen, 35, began his coaching career at Maryland, his alma mater. He then spent time at Towson, Penn State, and Fordham.
He was the tight ends coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021 and he then went to Virginia Tech as the offensive coordinator in 2022 until 2024.
Bowen also coached tight ends at VT in 2022 and then quarterbacks the past two years on top of his OC duties.
The longtime assistant was the OL line coach at Fordham and Maryland, and now he heads to the Big Ten Conference and joins the national champions in a revamped staff.
Next up could be filling the OC opening, and several candidates have been linked to the Ohio State job.
