In an interview at the Invited Celebrity Classic in April, ex-NFL legend Tony Romo explained why he considers Scottie Scheffler an absolute genius. The PGA Tour Champions recently shared a snippet of this interview on their official X account to celebrate Scheffler’s victory at the City of Lights. In the video Romo couldn’t stop gushing about Scheffler’s sheer golfing prowess. The former Dallas QB, who estimated he has played around 500 rounds with the world’s No. 1 golfer, said, “I don’t think I’ve ever played a round of golf with Scottie Scheffler and him not break 70 ever, which is insane.“
The latest Olympic victory in Paris has increased Scottie Scheffler’s win tally of the season from six to seven. So far, Scottie Scheffler has dominated the PGA Tour this season. In his 16 appearances, he has made it to the top 10 14 times! and the two where he was unable to do so were the American Express and the third major of the season at the U.S. Open.
