Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods get very different outcomes in Bryson DeChambeau game
Starting off as hard as it gets with two European legends in Seve Ballesteros and Rory McIlroy, the American went for the latter and then instantly dumped him.
Vijay Singh took over, but again only briefly, as McIlroy was dealt another blow with LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman being the first to hold position, taking down Ernie Els and Billy Casper before DeChambeau showed himself as a golfing history buff.
Career grand slam winner Gene Sarazen, who played in the 1920s and 1930s, then was took the lead with the comment: “Oh come on! The technology is so different!”
The baton was then passed from Tom Watson to Phil Mickelson to Byron Nelson with DeChambeau commenting: “That’s tough. That’s not tough actually that’s pretty easy, Byron did some pretty crazy stuff.”
Nelson then took down icons in Arnold Palmer and Gary Player, before the record major winner Jack Nicklaus looked to have won it.
However, he was then overtaken by the man second on the all-time major winners list, Tiger Woods, who DeChambeau even picked over himself at the very end.
DeChambeau has every right to be in the conversation, though, having risen onto the scene in dramatic fashion in recent years.
