Victoria Beckham is reportedly planning a move back to America in a bid to become the new ‘Queen of Miami’.
Though the Beckhams only moved back to the UK permanently in 2021, they are said to have their heart set on snapping up a £60 million mega-mansion on the Miami waterfront which has nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.
Other luxuries that come with the house are a rooftop lounge, massage room, home cinema, gym and its own infinity swimming pool looking out over the water, as well as mooring for their own private yacht. And if they get the keys and make the move back over the pond, their famous neighbours are thought to include model Cindy Crawford and pop stars Shakira, Phil Collins and Bee Gee Barry Gibb.
The investment – which is said to be ‘pending’, though an offer they put in has reportedly been accepted – would cement the Beckhams status in Miami society and be their version of an American ‘Beckingham Palace’.
It is unknown if Victoria and husband David Beckham – who has work ties in the area through his football club Inter Miami CF – plan to sell any of their existing properties to fund their move back to the States.
At the moment, they split their time between a £31 million townhouse in West London’s Holland Park and a £12 million barn conversion near posh Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, where David has recently been getting green-fingered as he shared video clips of his gardening and growing veg online.
Speaking about the reported move to Miami, a local property source told the Daily Mail: “They have put in an offer and it has been accepted. The plan is they will move in early next year.”
