The WTA Ranking has been updated after another week of action in Palermo and Budapest most notably with Diana Shnaider and Karolina Muchova leading the main movers.
Shnaider who won the WTA 250 in Budapest now moves up five places from her previous high of World No.28 and sits on the cusp of the top 20. She is World No.23 as of Monday. Muchova reached the final in Palermo and sits inside the top 30 again. She moved up six spots to World No.29 after her run.
Qinwen Zheng did not move with the Chinese ace only defending her title in Italy. Aliaksandra Sasnovich who lost to Shnaider in the final of Budapest is up 30 places to World No.104 after her run. While Moyuka Uchijima (#66), Harriet Dart (#80), Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (#81) and Erika Andreeva (#91) continue their rise into new career highs.
Iga Swiatek continues her dominance ascending to a 112th week atop the WTA Ranking with a healthy lead over Coco Gauff who will defend her US Open points in a few weeks and also Cincinnati. Elena Rybakina will likely be the one to benefit as a result with the Kazakh poised to move into World Number Two if those points are not defended.
