Arsenal has been identified as a desirable destination by the player.
The player acknowledged that Arsenal would be an excellent choice.
The striker has revealed that he would find a move to Arsenal to be a remarkable opportunity
Striker Mika Biereth, formerly of Arsenal, has expressed his enthusiasm for a potential return to the club.
Currently with Sturm Graz, Biereth left Arsenal just a few months ago during the summer transfer window after struggling to establish himself at the North London side.
After joining Arsenal from Fulham in 2021, he found it challenging to break into the first team and spent time on loan at RKC Waalwijk, Motherwell, and ultimately Sturm Graz, where he was signed permanently.
Now, the young Danish forward has voiced his ambition to compete in the Premier League again, indicating that he would be open to rejoining Arsenal in the future. In an interview with TV2, he stated:
“Things are going well in Sturm Graz, and I have no complaints at the moment.
I play regularly at a high level, and we are also participating in the Champions League, where I am eager to score my first goal.
If I continue to perform well and find the net, I hope for a change, but my current focus is on doing well with Sturm and contributing goals. A return to Arsenal would be fantastic, but it’s not my priority at this time.”
It remains uncertain whether Arsenal will consider bringing him back.
Manager Mikel Arteta is currently pleased with his attacking lineup, which is why he opted not to pursue a new striker during the summer transfer window.
Arteta has confidence in the capabilities of Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, and Leandro Trossard, although there have been rumors linking the club to Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
Jesus has been associated with a potential departure from the club due to ongoing fitness challenges and his inability to secure a position in the starting lineup.
Eventually, the Gunners are expected to seek a new striker, and Biereth may be the one to seize the opportunity to showcase his talents at the Emirates Stadium.
