It was yet another day of no major news from the Atlanta Braves, who have not made a big splash this offseason. MLB News:
The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to a six-year, $210M deal with right-hander Corbin Burnes. He has the option to opt out after the 2026 season.
The Los Angeles Dodgers re-signed outfielder Teoscar Hernández to a three-year, $66M deal. There is over $23M in deferred money.
The Detroit Tigers signed infielder Gleyber Torres to a one-year, $15M contract. He is expected to be the club’s regular second baseman. Colt Keith has been moved to first base.
The Philadelphia Phillies added a couple of minor leaguers in Guillo Zuñiga and Nabil Crismatt.
The New York Mets officially announced their three-year, $75M deal with left-hander Sean Manaea.
Athletics president Dave Kaval announced his resignation and will “pursue new business opportunities in California.”
