On the field, it was a successful Sunday for the Braves as they were able to win their second straight series out West and end their road trip with a winning record with a 3-1 victory over the Angels.

But of course, when it comes to enjoying successes this season, it never can be that easy. Instead of a positive off-day with the Braves fully focused on the Phillies coming to Atlanta, all eyes are focused on Austin Riley. Riley left the first inning of Sunday’s game against the Angels due to being hit in the hand by a fastball.

The hope is that Monday will bring more news, and that news will not continue the trend of the one of Atlanta’s best players being lost for an extended period of time. The Braves are certainly due for a bit of positive injury luck.
