Brooklyn Beckham announced on Friday that he has been rushed to hospital after breaking his shoulder. David and Victoria Beckham’s son, 25, posted a concerning photograph of himself wearing a hospital gown as he received medical attention.
Despite suffering the painful injury, Brooklyn looked in good spirits, posing for the camera and still wearing a backwards cap.
He wrote in the Instagram caption: “Broke my shoulder but all good cause I have @nicolaannepeltzbeckham to look after me xx love you babe.”
Fans of the budding chef quickly took to the comments to share their messages of support. One wrote: “Speedy recovery, very debilitating having such an injury.”
Another echoed: “I’ve done that. It’s brutal. Get well soon,” while a third said: “Hope your healing goes well.”
Brooklyn thanked wife Nicola after his injury.
Fashion designer Victoria, 50, showed her support by ‘liking’ her son’s post.
Brooklyn has not yet revealed how he sustained the injury. Just hours before he had enjoyed dinner at a Japanese restaurant in New York.
It comes after a difficult time for Brooklyn and wife Nicola, 29, after the tragic death of their dog, Nala.
In June, the actress shared on Instagram that the chihuahua suffered a medical emergency after visiting a dog groomer.
She wrote in a post that Nala was “perfectly healthy” but came back from the dog groomer “hyperventilating” and “couldn’t catch her breath”.
Nala was then rushed to an emergency vet where she died.
Nicola has now filed a lawsuit against the grooming company. According to the filing, obtained by People, she claimed that Nala’s death was caused by the groomer’s alleged “intentional and malicious abuse of dogs”.
The model also took action against the company’s owner for “reckless and malicious conduct” after continuing to employ the staff member despite an alleged “history of complaints” about behaviour toward animals.
