Bruins Superstar Predicted to Have Big Season

Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak was easily the Original Six club’s best skater this past season. In 82 games, the 2014 first-round pick posted 47 goals, 110 points, and a plus-21 rating. He also notably took his playmaking to a new level, recording a career-high 63 assists on the year.

While Pastrnak had another strong season, his goal totals dropped, as he had 61 for the Bruins in 2022-23. Yet ESPN believes that No. 88 should see his goals back up for next season.

ESPN’s projections for the 2024-25 season have Pastrnak finishing with 55 goals, 57 assists, and 112 points.

If Pastrnak put up these totals, it would certainly be another massive year for the superstar. It also is not necessarily too far-fetched of a prediction, either, as Pastrnak has put up similar totals in recent years. Over the last two seasons, Pastrnak has averaged 54 goals, 58 assists, and 112 points. Thus, this projection for Pastrnak is very reasonable from ESPN.

In addition, if Elias Lindholm bounces back as the Bruins’ first-line center, he and Pastrnak could create some real magic together.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of season Pastrnak can put together for the Bruins from here.
