Ohio State football is in the College Football Playoff semifinal game, and it will be facing the Texas Longhorns on Friday night. The Cotton Bowl is going to be arguably the most-anticipated game of the college football season.
The Buckeyes throttled the Tennessee Volunteers in the first round and then beat up the No. 1-ranked Oregon Ducks, 41-21, in the quarterfinal, the most-watched game of the four.
With many former players at the highest level in the game, C.J. Stroud, who was a star quarterback for Ohio State just a few seasons ago and has now made a name for himself with the Houston Texans, is backing his Buckeyes.
He’s even making a few light-hearted bets along the way, and we may see a few Texans players in the Buckeyes colors if Ohio State comes out on top in its battle.
Stroud, who has a banged-up Texans side in the playoffs, will be preparing for the Wild Card round as well in the coming days, but he’ll be undoubtedly watching the Buckeyes battle the Longhorns on Friday.
