The Washington Capitals preseason concludes on Saturday night from Capital One Arena against the Boston Bruins. If you can’t make it to the game you can catch it locally on Monumental Sports Network, nationally on NHL Network and on the radio at Team 980 and online at Caps Radio 24/7.
Forwards: Andrew Cristall, Nic Dowd, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Brandon Duhaime, Hendrix Lapierre, Andrew Mangiapane, Connor McMichael, Alex Ovechkin, Aliaksei Protas, Taylor Raddysh, Dylan Strome, Tom Wilson
Defensemen: John Carlson, Jakob Chychrun, Martin Fehervary, Matt Roy, Rasmus Sandin, Trevor van Riemsdyk
Goaltenders: Charlie Lindgren, Logan Thompson
This will be the sixth and final preseason game plus a rematch from September 24 where the Bruins thumped the Caps 4-2. But this game will have a different feel with a mostly varsity laden lineup.
You’ll see Alex Ovechkin suit up and he scored the last time he was on Capital One Arena ice about a week ago against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Here were the lines from Friday’s practice where Spencer Carbery noted Charlie Lindgren would get the nod the whole game.
