Carlos Alcaraz fuels Emma Raducanu dating rumours ahead of US Open as fans sent into frenzy
Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu dating rumours have persisted over the past few months, despite nothing to back them up.
But tennis fans have been sent into a frenzy after the Spaniard liked a recent post from Raducanu on Instagram.
Both players are currently preparing for the start of the US Open, which is due to commence on Monday.
Alcaraz won the men’s singles at Flushing Meadows back in 2022, beating Casper Ruud in four sets to claim the first major of his career.
As for Raducanu, the Briton defied the odds to win the US Open herself in 2021 – with Leylah Fernandez beaten in the final on that occasion.
Rumours of Alcaraz and Raducanu dating spread earlier this year and have continued to rumble on.
And the Spaniard has now fuelled the speculation once more by liking a recent post from Raducanu on social media.
Eagle-eyed fans have been sent into a frenzy, with one user saying: “Well,well, two things are certain in this life:the first is death and the second is the like of Carlitos Alcaraz on Emma Raducanu’s posts.”
A second said: “Hey @Carloitosalcarazz, I see you.”
A third remarked: “Carlos likes all pictures of @emmaraducanu within a few minutes of her posting them are they dating or something?”
Another said: “O…liked slower than Carlos.”
And a fifth simply said ‘Carlitos’ while accompanying their message with the eyes emoji.
Raducanu has since uploaded another post on social media via Pinterest.
And fans continued to express hope that she’ll get together with Alcaraz, with one fan saying: “Sorry, Carlitos. My like was faster this time.”
