Carlos Alcaraz has forecasted the year in which he expects to retire from tennis and the last Grand Slam event he will play in his career.
The 21-year-old star also divulged the number of children he hopes to have and predicted the name of his future wife.
Alcaraz defeated Ben Shelton in the Garden Cup, an exhibition event at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday.
“Well, I always say that I’m trying to make the people enjoy watching tennis. I just try to put the best of myself on court, try to play great shots, great points,” the Spaniard said in an on-court interview after the match.
“When I’m playing against Ben it’s even easier doing it because the vibes, the game he has is unbelievable as well. But yeah, I Hope the people enjoyed the match. That’s what I try to do every time.”
The world No 3 will face another American star, Frances Tiafoe, in the Charlotte Invitational exhibition on Friday
Alcaraz appeared in a video posted on the Instagram account of Daniel Fernandez, a magician and content creator.
