Eberechi Eze has decided which team he would rather join out of Man City or Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur summer target Eberechi Eze has already decided which club he would like to join this summer. The frustrating wait goes on for Tottenham fans and their manager, Ange Postecoglou, as they await their second signing of the summer window.

Daniel Levy has made an impressive start to the summer transfer window when it comes to offloading players from N17.

Spurs have made good work of clearing the decks for Postecoglou with only a few unwanted players remaining at the club.

But there is a real pressure now beginning to develop from the fanbase for new signings to come through the doors.

And it now seems as if one of their top summer targets, Eberechi Eze, has now decided which club he would like to join if the right offers are to surface over the coming weeks.

Eberechi Eze already has his next club in mind

Perhaps the main focus for Postecoglou this summer has to be on finding a way to bring more goals in to this Spurs side.

Heung-min Son led the way with a return of 17 in the league but that is almost half of what Harry Kane provided in the 2022/23 campaign.

Although Spurs aren’t going to find another Kane, finding a way to spread the goals about is key even if that does not mean bringing in an out and out striker.

Tottenham have shown a lot of interest in Eze this summer as he’s seen as a player who could be another outlet in front of goal.

According to the Mirror [backpage and P48 23/7], Eze would be more attracted to the opportunity of joining Manchester City if they were to reignite their interest.

Both Spurs and City are said to be long-term admirers of the Crystal Palace star with City keen on him last summer.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side chose to sign Matheus Nunes from Wolves instead… a decision which they must be regretting now.

Guardiola, in particular, is said to be a big fan of the England international as City look to make it five league title wins on the bounce.

Tottenham know what it will take to sign Eberechi Eze

As do all interested clubs, Tottenham know that if they want to sign Eberechi Eze they will have to activate his £60m release clause.

It would be a deal that could potentially rise up to £68m; making it a transfer record for the Lilywhites if they were to pull it off.

Spurs are well aware of the quality which Eze could provide them with if they were to sign him this summer having seen him score a stunning free kick against them last season.
