According to Pro Football Talk, Schultz approached Rapoport in person at Starbucks at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis.
He said “we need to talk” to Rapoport but was declined by the insider.
We don’t need to talk,” the insider responded.
The two then stood face-to-face after Rapoport turned.
“If you have anything to say, say it to my face. If this happens again, we’re going to have a problem,” Schultz said.
Rapoport asked him to step back. He did after finishing saying they were going to have a problem.

It is claimed security was called and statements were taken. Both were asked about the incident by Pro Football Talk. Rapoport declined but Schultz sent a text message.
“It really isn’t anything too much. Ian Rapoport and I had a verbal confrontation. It lasted a little over a minute. Multiple agents and reporters were nearby. Rapoport was the one who called security shortly after, but it never escalated further,” Schultz wrote.
