Everton have made a solid start with David Moyes back on Merseyside.
It has been a difficult season for Everton who have found themselves struggling around the foot end of the table.
But Moyes has been able to guide the Toffees to a nine-point cushion on the relegation zone with three wins from three.
Moyes admitted Everton aren’t safe from relegation just yet, but it has undoubtedly been a brilliant start under the Scotsman.
However, it could have panned out much differently for Everton with a number of other managers on the Friedkins’ radar before appointing Moyes.
Everton eyed Graham Potter before David Moyes
Graham Potter was a managerial target for Everton before he made the move to West Ham.
However, the Toffees ended up with the 61-year-old who has returned to where he got his first big break in Premier League football.
Everton’s decision to even target Potter is one which has left Jamie Carragher absolutely baffled.
