The Indianapolis Colts today released their Friday injury report for Week 16 of the NFL season ahead of their Sunday game against the Tennessee Titans.
Wide receiver Alec Pierce has been ruled OUT of Sundays game against the Tennessee Titans due to a concussion injury. Pierce will miss the game this Sunday after missing practice all week due to a concussion he suffered last Sunday against the Broncos. Expect to see wide receiver LaQuon Treadwell to be promoted from the practice squad to help depth at the position in Pierce’s absence.
Linebscker EJ Speed has been ruled OUT of Sundays game against the Tennessee Titans due to an ankle injury. Speed will miss the game this Sunday after missing practice all week due to the ankle injury which has plagued him the last two weeks. With Speed out expect to see Grant Stuard start next to Zaire Franklin at linebacker and potentially see the return of Jaylon Carlies.
Center Ryan Kelly (ankle) and Linebacker Jaylon Carlies (fibula, shoulder) are both listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Titans. Both Kelly and Carlies had their 21 day practice window opened to return from injured reserve last week before being ruled out of last weeks game. Both Kelly and Carlies were full participants at practice all week and look set to return to playing Sunday. However, if Kelly is unable to play expect rookie Tanor Bortolini or Danny Pinter to replace him at center.
Wide receiver Ashton Dulin has been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Titans due to an ankle injury. Dulin has managed to practice twice this week with just one being full and looks more than likely he will return to action. However him being listed as questionable does cast some doubt over his availability, it looks like he will be a game day decision.
Tight end Mo Alie-Cox been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Titans due to an hip injury. Alie-Cox has managed to practice just one this week and looks unlikely to be and to play Sunday. If he is unable to play expect Will Mallory to be active on Sunday in his place.
Kicker Matt Gay been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Titans due to a neck injury. Gay has managed to practice just once this week and is a huge doubt to play Sunday. The Colts may have to make a move at kicker if Gay is unable to play Sunday and it certainly looks unlikely currently.
