There’s never a sure-fire way for garnering a player’s signature when it comes to transfers in English football, however, a sighting capturing one of those players in training with one of your own is never a bad sign.

Despite the interest and the relationship between the players, however, it looks like Spurs are simultaneously pursuing plenty of other attacking and midfield options.
The North London side also seem to be unrelenting in their pursuit of Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, a deal which could continue to pull from most of the club’s energy as they attempt to detach the young Englishman from his loyalties with his boyhood club.
Either way, it’s a positive development to see Maddison interacting with a potential incoming transfer and to be making exceptional use of his time amid his controversial ousting from the English national team for the 2024 Euros.
Perhaps what the interaction between Madison and Gibbs-White could provide more insight into is the fact that the club will be in grave need of leadership amongst a squad that is becoming increasingly young but whose expectations and internal demands are rising exponentially.
