Journo expects Tottenham to rival Chelsea in the pursuit of 24-year-old 'silent assassin'

Speaking to The London is Blue Podcast, renowned journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that he expects Tottenham Hotspur to rival Chelsea for the signature of Canadian striker Jonathan David.

The talented 24-year-old striker is currently on Copa America duty where his nation find themselves in the semifinals facing defending champions Argentina. Beating the World Champions is going to be no easy task.

Having played for LOSC Lille for around four seasons now, David seems ready for the next big move in his career. He has outgrown the French club in every sense and needs to be playing for the elite in Europe.

Chelsea and Tottenham in the Premier League are willing to offer David a platform to take his career to the next level. Although neither club can offer Champions League football at the moment, we are building an impressive project towards it. The lesser said about the Blues’ project, the better!
