In recent months, Jude Bellingham has reportedly taken on the role of an unofficial “cheerleader” for Real Madrid in their pursuit of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Spanish outlet MARCA reported earlier this week that Alexander-Arnold told Real Madrid that he wants to sign for the La Liga giant in the summer, with the 26-year-old reportedly speaking to his international teammate about what life is like in Spain.
It turns out that the 21-year-old is also friendly with another major target for Los Blancos in Canada international Alphonso Davies. Davies could leave Bayern Munich as a free agent in the summer with his current deal set to expire.
Madrid has been interested in signing Davies for some time while he is also linked with a move to Liverpool and Manchester United. Recent reports suggest they may miss out, with the Canadian full-back thought to be nearing an agreement on a new contract with the Bundesliga side. Despite this, Bellingham was spotted enjoying a night out with Davies earlier this week, fueling speculation about a potential move.
Davies would be a valuable addition to Real Madrid, particularly given their ongoing struggles at left-back this season. The 24-year-old has already won five Bundesliga titles and a Champions League trophy among other accolades and is certainly an intriguing prospect.
