Leeds United eye move for Oliver Skipp

Leeds United are expected to make a move for Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp.

According to a report from Football London (June 29), the Whites boss, Daniel Farke would be keen for a reunion with Skipp, who was ever-present in the Norwich midfield that won the Championship under the German boss.

The Whites could look to sign him permanently or on loan, and it does not depend on whether Archie Gray stays or leaves.

The report claims that the lure of playing under Farke would appeal to the 23-year-old midfielder, who is seen as a “rare commodity” for the north London club.

If Spurs allow him to leave, Leeds can expect competition from other Premier League clubs for his signature.

Meanwhile, Leeds have agreed a fee in the region of £40 million to sell Gray, who will undergo his medical at Brentford. However, Spurs are also considering making a late move to hijack the deal.
