Leicester City are paying £20million with a further £5m in add-ons for Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp.
Tottenham had been reluctant to lose Skipp, 23, as they look to comply with the Premier League’s homegrown squad rules.
New Leicester boss Steve Cooper is eager to bring in Skipp to add to his midfield options.
Leicester, coincidentally, make their return to the Premier League on Monday night when they host Tottenham.
Skipp, who made his senior debut in 2018, has made 106 appearances for Tottenham.
He scored what looks set to be his only goal for the club against Chelsea in February 2023.
The former England Under-21 international had a loan spell at Norwich in the 2020-21 campaign.
