Slot sets Carragher straight
Jamie Carragher was told by Arne Slot that he was ‘not informed enough’ after the legendary Liverpool defender said that the Dutchman would not have been happy with the manner of Liverpool’s recent win over Brighton.
Liverpool and Brighton contested a frantic Premier League game at Anfield, with the Reds scoring twice in quick succession in the second half to record a 2-1 victory after going a goal behind in the first half.
Since arriving at Anfield, Slot has been publicly vocal about his desire to add more control to the Liverpool team after the high intensity with which Jurgen Klopp’s Reds played, and the new approach has clearly paid off, with the Reds flying on all fronts at the beginning of this season.
That control wasn’t evident against Brighton, and Carragher said he didn’t think Slot would have enjoyed the manner of the win.
