After watching Reed Sheppard take the basketball world by storm, it’s easy to see why the BBN is hopeful that Travis Perry can become the latest Bluegrass kid to shine for the Kentucky Wildcats.
While it wouldn’t be fair to expect Perry to have that type of ascension, he has been one of the most talked-about players during summer workouts, and that hype doesn’t appear to be slowing down.
KSR’s Matt Jones recently spoke with people close to the Kentucky program, including a former Wildcat on La Familia. Jones says he’s heard “great stuff” about Perry, who has been standing out in summer practice thanks to his lights-out shooting.
If he can guard well, Perry will likely play a significant role for the 2024-25 Wildcats.
