Ole Miss resumed Week 3 of fall camp practices in Tuesday’s latest outing on the practice field. Monday’s practice was unavailable for media viewing after a schedule change, but reporters were granted limited access Tuesday morning.
The Rebels held their second scrimmage of the month this past weekend and head coach Lane Kiffin once again reiterated that his defense stole the show.
“I thought the defensive line played extremely well again. It really caused us, including our first offense, some issues. That’s kind of been the theme of camp, about them playing really well. They did again,” Kiffin said. “There’s a lot of different body-types in that unit that are really hard to deal with. Obviously, that’s our team, so that’s really good to deal with. Our offense line has a chance to be improved. I think they’re heading in the right direction. Those guys haven’t played together. That takes some time too.”
