Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is currently sweating on the fitness of star QB Jordan Love, who has been dealing with an injury to his right elbow.
Love was a limited participant during Wednesday’s open workout.
But the Packers themselves have cast doubt over his participation with the premature ending of their latest practice session.
The attending media, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, were prohibited from watching the players perform their individual drills – which they’re traditionally allowed to view.
So that meant no one – other than the Packers team and coaching staff – got to see Love throw.
But former Utah State QB Love insisted: “I’ll throw, ya know, my normal.
“I don’t know. I don’t know what you mean by that, sorry.”
Coach LaFleur also moved quickly to quell concerns over Love’s throwing arm.
Love, who injured his elbow in the Packers 22-24 loss to the Chicago Bears, is optimistic about his chances of playing against the Eagles.
He said: “I’m hopeful [of playing. Just based on my hand, getting back to
Love, 26, experienced numbness in his throwing hand after hitting his elbow mid-throw.
But thankfully for him and the Packers faithful, the numbness is not long-lasting.
