Princess Kate’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have joined their mother to the annual Christmas Carol service.
Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, delighted royal fans tonight as they stepped out to support their mother, the Princess of Wales, at her glittering Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey.
The Wales children arrived with dad Prince William at the annual event, which is spearheaded by mum Kate.
Prince George looked dapper in a navy suit, while Princess Charlotte wore an adorable wine-coloured coat which was paired with blue tights and dark Mary Janes.
Prince Louis looked equally dapper this year as he sported a full-on navy suit to match his brother and father.
The royal trio, much beloved by royal fans, brought emotional notes to the service, and each attached theirs to the Kindness tree outside of the abbey – a new addition to this year’s service where guests were asked to leave a message to someone who had supported them throughout their life.
In his note, Prince Louis took the opportunity to thank his ‘Granny and Grandpa’ for all that they do. Louis’s red tag said: “Thank you to granny and grandpa because they have played games with me.”
It is not clear whether the note is dedicated to King Charles and Queen Camilla or to Carole and Michael Middleton. Louis and his siblings are understood to have a warm relationship with both sets of his grandparents, the king and queen and the Middletons.
The Wales children were then introduced to the Dean of Westminster, Dr David Hoyle, before the group took their seats.
This year’s service, supported by The Royal Foundation, celebrates all those who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities.
Among the 1,600 attendees are people who have supported others in their communities in their own way and people who have gone through difficult times this year.
