Scottie Scheffler in line for another $8MILLION payday – without hitting a shot – as golf star takes 2024 earnings to $36MILLION

Scottie Scheffler is in line to bag another $8million as he is set to win the Comcast Top 10.

The Comcast Business Tour Top 10 emphasizes player performances by rewarding the top golfers in the FedExCup standings at the end of the FedExCup Regular Season.

Scheffler’s $8m payday is double last year’s prize of $4m, which was won by Jon Rahm after winning four tournaments in the 2022-23 PGA Tour regular season.

The bonus will bring Scheffler’s earnings from PGA competitions to $36,148,691 in 2024, with two more $20m purses up for grabs.

Aside from the eight-figure events, he also has the Player Impact Program and FedEx Cup bonus.

Scheffler went on a hot stretch in March and April, which began with back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Player’s Championship. He earned a total of $8.5m from both wins.

After tying for second at the Houston Open, he went on another back-to-back streak by winning the Masters Tournament and RBC Heritage. He bagged $7.2m from those wins.

He would win another $3.6m parlayed with 700 FedEx points at the Travelers Championship in June.
