Simone Biles Teases Fans With Special Gymnastics Moves Ahead Of Her Gold Over America Tour

Simone Biles just doesn’t know how to stop. After having a fantastic Paris Olympics that saw the US gymnastics notch up 3 gold and 1 silver medal, Biles is once again raring to go. This time, she will be competing as a part of the Gold Over America tour starting September 16. The tour will feature the top gymnasts who will travel all over the country to present a spectacular show of top-class gymnastics to keep the crowd enthralled. And to make her mark in the event, the 7x Olympic gold medalist is taking things up by a notch.  As per her latest updates, Biles might be pulling out some new moves. Taking to her Instagram story, Simone Biles teased a couple of new variations in the floor that left her fans utterly excited. First up, she attempted the front double full and then the US gymnastics queen went on to execute a double lay. Biles captioned both the moves in her story saying, “What are the odds I do front double full on tour ????” and “Will 4EVER love a double lay.” Well, Simone Biles adding new routines to her arsenal is not new. Her Yurchenko double pike in vaults has become one of the signature moves of Simone Biles. Back in Paris, Simone Biles submitted a new original element. Surprisingly, this came in her weakest apparatus, the uneven bars. Trying to add a new skill to her name, Biles tried to add more difficulty to the Weiler Kip, which is named after the Canadian gymnast, Wilhelm Weiler.

The element requires a gymnast to perform a clear hip circle with 1.5 turns or a 540-degree pirouette to a handstand. Biles added a double turn instead of the 1.5, showing her zeal to attain greatness despite already having five elements named after her. And with this unique hunger for more success, it might happen that we can see another Simone Biles special in the LA 28 Olympics.

Is Simone Biles eyeing a last dance in LA 28? 

Simone Biles has always been a victim of rumors and speculations. After her twisties ruined the Tokyo Olympics and Biles missed top-level gymnastics for more than a year, people speculated that she would not be coming back. However, at 27 years old, being the oldest female gymnast to lead Team USA to an Olympic all-around gold, Biles completed her redemption in royal manner. Now, once again, the rumors are going around and Biles is not happy about it.  The fact that Simone Biles hinted at embracing motherhood caused the speculations to spread. However, once the Olympics was over, Biles took offense to the questions and stated that people must give athletes some space instead of asking them what they are doing next. Speaking about her retirement, Biles told Hoda Kotb, “Never say never”¦ The next Olympics is on home turf, so you just never know”¦ Just going to relax and see where life takes.” And surely, with Biles trying out new moves after achieving almost everything in the gymnastics realm is a testament to the fact that Simone Biles is surely a rare species, as rightly pointed out by her sister, Adria.
