The Georgia Bulldogs will receive their opportunity this weekend to court the top quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class.
Rivals’ Jed May reported on March 13 five-star signal caller Jared Curtis has arrived in Athens, Ga., for a multi-day unofficial visit.
May tweeted a screenshot of a picture from Curtis’ Instagram story. In the photo, Curtis captured a video arcade basketball game. As the location of the photo, the quarterback chose, “University of Georgia.”
Curtis is visiting the Bulldogs just a few days after seeing the Oregon Ducks campus in Eugene, Ore. By multiple indications, Curtis’ visit with the Ducks went well.
“We had a great time! And learned a lot about what he’s building,” Curtis’ mother, Barbara told On3 of their visit to Oregon.
“It was great to fellowship with the coaches and staff,” Barbara added. “We learned more about the school and program. Our relationship deepened and I appreciate all they did to ensure our visit went well!
“I walked away feeling good, if Jared chose to go there.”
The Bulldogs will get their opportunity this weekend to give Curtis and his family good feelings as well.
The signal-caller was actually initially committed to Georgia, but he elected to reopen his recruitment. The Bulldogs and Ducks are his final two schools.
Curtis is the top quarterback and No. 2 prospect in the 2026 class based on the 247Sports composite rankings.
The top quarterback will play his senior high school season at the Nashville Christian School.
