Spurs transfer news: North Londoners ‘hold advantage’ in race for Juventus forward
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly regarded as one of the leading contenders to sign Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa.
On Friday, head coach Ange Postecoglou called for patience from the club’s supporters after a lull in activity in the summer transfer window.
Since the initial burst of bringing in Archie Gray and Timo Werner, and the previously-planned arrival of Lucas Bergvall, Spurs have acquired no fresh faces since July 2.
However, while the first-team squad are currently on a pre-season tour of Asia, further additions are expected to be made ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
