Tottenham excitement emerges as Fabrizio Romano shares Luka Vuskovic update

John Wenham has expressed his excitement after an update emerged on pre-agreed Tottenham signing Luka Vuskovic.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose claims the defender will benefit from spending a season on loan in Belgium.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano via X (21 June), Vuskovic will join Belgian side Westerlo on loan for the 2024/25 campaign, having arrived at the club to complete his medical and sign the paperwork.

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes this is a positive step in the 17-year-old’s development.

“The Belgian league is ranked much higher by UEFA than the Polish league,” Wenham said.

“It is therefore a big step up. He will be playing against some good teams and that will help his development ahead of his arrival at the club.

When he does arrive at Tottenham, he will have plenty of football experience across several different languages, cultures, and styles, which can only be beneficial.

“Therefore, I am really excited about this loan move.”

Luka Vuskovic could become a star at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Vuskovic will be one of the most established 18-year-olds in the Premier League by the time he arrives in North London.

As previously revealed by Tottenham News (20 March), the Hajduk Split defender will spend next season on loan once again, with Belgium the chosen destination.

This means by the time he joins Spurs he will have played in Croatia, Poland and Belgium.
