Tottenham Hotspur have done a massive job to influx a bunch of level-raising talent at Hotspur Way in the recently concluded summer transfer window that saw the Lilywhites make statement signings, including that of Dominic Solanke. The ex-Liverpool striker moved to Tottenham Hotspur in a deal worth £65m amid links to multiple strikers from around Europe.
Spurs have been looking to fill Harry Kane’s void in the attacking line, and the Greek-born tactician wanted to bring someone who can not only be a physical presence upfront but also be involved in the build-up play.
The staff at Hotspur Way have also been training different patterns of play in the training that can benefit Solanke’s goal-scoring attributes. We have to see whether that comes through or the pressure continues to mount on the new Spurs ace.
The new signing did score his first goal for the Lilywhites earlier today against Brentford, but is it enough to change fans opinions?
