The Wrexham squad would have been pleased to see Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in Canada as they rounded off their Wrex Coast Tour in style.
It’s been an unbelievable pre-season for Wrexham, who followed up their 5-1 win over Hanley Town with three impressive results on their Wrex Coast Tour.
The Reds held Premier League sides Bournemouth and Chelsea to draws while a trip to Canada saw them thrash MLS team Vancouver Whitecaps 4-1.
To go through those three matches unscathed and hold their own against superior opposition was fantastic, while the thrashing of Vancouver was made even sweeter by having their owners in attendance.
Ryan Reynolds visited the Wrexham dressing room before the win vs Vancouver
With Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds spending most of their time in the United States, the players and coaching staff rarely get to see the Hollywood duo.
So, when another pre-season in the US rolled around, they knew it would present a brief opportunity for the Wrexham squad to catch up with them in person.
Although Reynolds is currently busy following the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, the 47-year-old still found time to visit his side ahead of their clash against Vancouver
