William Nylander opens up on issue that made him miss part of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The Toronto Maple Leafs William Nylander has opened up on the issues that made him miss part of the team’s 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Boston Bruins

It was the talk of the Toronto Maple Leafs first-round 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Boston Bruins. William Nylander, part of Toronto’s ‘core 4,’ was absent for the first three games of what would end up being a 4-3 series loss to the Bruins and another first-round exit for the Leafs. The reasons for Nylander’s absence were hard to pin down at the time, although he did admit to suffering from migraines when the series was over. He’s now gone a bit more in depth.

William Nylander had previously said the migraines got so bad they were impacting his vision. In an interview with Expressen.se in his home country of Sweden, Nylander said he’s done work on the issue over the summer and he’s not worried about the upcoming season.
