The team from the Six is moving into a bigger venue this season.
On Tuesday, PWHL Toronto announced that it will be playing its home games at the Coca-Cola Coliseum for the 2024-25 season.
Toronto spent most of the inaugural season at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, formerly the Maple Leaf Gardens. The team sold out every home game during the regular season, leading to fans’ requests that the team play in a bigger venue. Their wishes were granted when the team moved into the CCC for the playoffs.
“We look forward to creating an atmosphere that will be a unique and special sporting experience unlike anything else in Toronto,” general manager Gina Kingsbury said in a release. “Our incredible fans sold out this historic venue during our playoff games last season and now we can’t wait to see and hear their infectious excitement again when we hit the ice for the 2024-2025 season.”
The arena in Exhibition Place has a capacity of 8,100 for hockey, and is also home to the Toronto Maple Leafs‘ American Hockey League affiliate, the Toronto Marlies. Capacity was reached for all three of Toronto’s postseason games. However, they were eliminated by the eventual Walter Cup champions, Minnesota.

Toronto will continue to practice at the Ford Performance Centre, the same facility where the Maple Leafs practice.
Toronto also played a home game at Scotiabank Arena, briefly setting a new women’s hockey attendance record when they beat Montreal in the Battle on Bay Street last February. With the PWHL schedule expanding to 30 games per team this coming season, there will be a number of neutral-site games like year one. Those games, along with the start date for the 2024-25 campaign, have yet to be announced.
