Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that the deal AZ Alkmaar have agreed with Tottenham for Troy Parrott is worth €8m (£6.7m).
Parrott’s spell at Tottenham is officially set to come to an end, with the striker now thought to be on the verge of sealing a move to AZ Alkmaar.
The 22-year-old is reportedly on his way to the Netherlands to have a medical after being unable to work his way into Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
Gold reveals that Alkmaar were impressed by the youngster’s showing on loan at Excelsior Rotterdam, with the club admiring the fact that the Spurs academy graduate netted 17 goals for a side who were struggling near the bottom of the Eredivisie table.
