Prince Harry is “desperate” to return to his home country despite this being against his wife’s wishes, a royal expert has said.

According to OK!, expert Phil Dampier said the duke, who turned 40 earlier this month, wants to spend more time in the UK, especially over recent months and since his father King Charles’ cancer diagnosis earlier this year when the duke flew back to the country alone.

Mr Dampier said Harry was “desperate” to find some new meaning to his life and would have to fly solo even if meant being without Meghan, who doesn’t want to come back to the UK.

Phil said: “He’s turned 40 and must be asking himself what the future holds. I think he’s desperate to find some new meaning to his life and that seems to involve branching out on his own more.

“He clearly wants to find some causes he can get involved in and give his life some purpose. Meghan doesn’t want to come back to this country, so he will have to fly solo.”

The £992k home Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could live in if they returned to the UK

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could move into a home worth £992k if they returned to the UK, a royal expert has said.

Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that if Harry and his family do ever want to return to the UK, they are likely to move into Althorp House with Earl Charles Spencer, Princess Diana’s brother.

This would act as a temporary base for the couple if they ever needed it.

Pelham Turner said: “Earl Spencer promised at the funeral of his sister Diana… to constantly look after his nephews William and Harry.

“It is no surprise to me that Harry stayed at Althorp recently because they have been very close since that time.

“Harry can rely upon Earl Spencer. And no doubt, behind the scenes, [the earl] has been trying to build bridges with the brothers.”

New ‘pro-Harry, anti-Camilla’ documentary could cause chaos for Royal Family

A new documentary set to air on Channel 4 could send shockwaves across the Royal Family as it depicts the idea put forward by Prince Harry in his memoir Spare of Queen Camilla being a “wicked stepmother”.

The documentary, which is set to air within weeks, is rumoured to suggest that the late Queen Elizabeth did not want Camilla to ascend to the throne, and will strongly favour Prince Harry.

An insider told The Sun: “This is very much a pro-Harry, anti-Camilla documentary. It presents him and Meghan as victims of the family’s unkindness.

“It’s going to cause serious waves – and Channel 4 know it. They know this is hugely controversial. A lot of people aren’t going to like it, especially at Buckingham Palace.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not contributed to the making of the documentary, it has been confirmed.

It is believed the release of the new documentary was also postponed from earlier this year after King Charles was diagnosed with cancer.

Prince Harry only has himself to blame for security risk

Prince Harry reportedly only has himself to blame for the security risk he faces when he visits the UK.

A source told Express.co.uk that it was the detail of how many Taliban members that the duke killed in Afghanistan, revealed in Harry’s memoir Spare, that has put him at risk when visiting the country.

The source said: “The reason why Harry has become such a security concern is due to comments he’s made about the Taliban.

“Because of those comments, he will always be a target. That’s something he only has himself to blame.”

Prince Harry has repeatedly spoken about how he feels unsafe in the UK and fears for the safety of his wife and two children.

Prince Harry set to branch out more without Meghan Markle

A royal expert has said Prince Harry is set to branch out more without his wife Meghan Markle.

The duke, 40, has expressed more ambition over recent months to return to the UK, even if this means flying solo and leaving Meghan, 43, and their two children back in America.

A royal expert has now said that Meghan does not want to return to the country and therefore Harry may branch out more without her by his side.

According to OK!, expert Phil Dampier said: “He’s turned 40 and must be asking himself what the future holds. I think he’s desperate to find some new meaning to his life and that seems to involve branching out on his own more.

“Meghan doesn’t want to come back to this country, so he will have to fly solo.”

This comes after the duke’s recent solo visit to New York City, just a few days after his 40th birthday celebrations.

Meghan reportedly stayed behind at the couple’s Montecito mansion with Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.
