Simone Biles gives jittery reaction while celebrating husband Jonathan Owens’ touchdown for Chicago Bears
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Simone Biles was all praises for her husband Jonathan Owens over the weekend.
The football safety for the Chicago Bears scored the franchise’s first touchdown of the season during the first weekend of the 2024 NFL season, as reported by Daily Mail.
The touchdown was also Owens’ second in his career as his team took on the Tennessee Titans at Soldier Field in Chicago on Sunday, September 8. The Chicago Bears beat the Tennessee Titans 24-17.
Simone Biles thrilled after Jonathan Owens scores touchdown
While Simone Biles didn’t appear to be in Chicago to cheer on her husband, she was supporting him nonetheless.
Biles immediately took to X and posted, “I ALMOST HD A HEART ATTACK,” while re-sharing a clip of the play.
When Biles was competing at the Olympics this year, her footballer husband went to Paris to support her.
Following her three gold medals and a silver win at the Paris 2024 despite tweaking her calf, Owens expressed his happiness by saying, “Her ability to persevere through that and go out there and still dominate was amazing to watch. My wife is a warrior.”
He continued, as reported by ESPN, “I equate it to how we are in football. You limp around, and it will hurt before, but as soon as you go, you forget about it,” before adding, “Pain tolerance, the way she was able to go out there and look graceful and people didn’t have a clue what was going on.”
