Simone Biles issued encouragement to men on the Gold Over America Tour as the Olympic legend prepares for a 30-city stretch.
Biles, 27, an 11-time Olympic medalist including seven golds, will be joined on tour by Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera as the gymnastics stars get ready for the pop concert-themed showcase. The gymnasts will headline the festivities and they will also be joined by male counterparts.
Two were filmed by Biles practising their routine on the balance beam. “Okay boys,” Biles said with three clapping emojis, as the pair strutted across the beam. The shows start on Sept. 16 before ending in Detroit on Nov. 3. Biles will also be debuting a new hairstyle, rocking subtle blonde highlights. “I did a thing,” she captioned the selfie, which also showed off her usual beaming smile.

Whether Biles stays in showbiz or continues competing through to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles is unknown. She has previously stated that being 27 is already old for a gymnast. “I’m getting older—27 is a bit much for a gymnast,” she said, in a Sept. episode of the Jimmy Fallon show.
“You’re a baby!” Fallon responded. “In real life, I’m like fine wine. Outside the gym, I’m young—tequila with no hangovers. But in the gym? I feel old,” Biles added. “Maybe we could do something like tag? Tag beam, tag vault, tag floor, tag bars. Just tag someone else in!” she then quipped.
Biles hasn’t entirely ruled out the 2028 Olympic competition, though. “Never say never,” Biles said. “Next Olympics are at home. So you just never know. I am getting really old.”
There is added motivation for Biles to keep on competing at the Olympic level. Biles is two gold medals off becoming the joint women’s gold medal record holder. Gymnast Larisa Semyonovna Latynina has the most with nine.
Regardless, Biles has hailed competing for the United States as one of her greatest honors. “Such an honor. I haven’t found the right words to describe my Olympic experience, it’s been a whirlwind… but I do know, I’ll be forever grateful to represent the United States,” she said.
Biles has already staged a great Olympic comeback after suffering from the twisties at the delayed Tokyo Games in 2021. Tokyo would’ve likely seen Biles tie, or beat, the women’s gold medals record. Biles is still in therapy, with its impact a huge part in her Paris comeback. She sees her therapist every Thursday, making the brave revelation this summer.
